SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

Under the responsibility of the Customs Compliance Supervisor, the Customs Agent will provide technical support in producing and obtaining customs documents.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Customs Coordinator in the production of customs documents (Canada, US & International)
  • Answer to inquiries about customs from internal and external clients
  • Assist with obtaining affidavits and certifications from suppliers
  • Prepare differents reports
  • Perform all other duties related to the position

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Hold an international logistics diploma or any other combination of training and experience deemed relevant for the position
  • Have a good knowledge of customs and Incoterms
  • Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Suite Office
  • Have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Have an experience in dealing with freight forwarders and customs brokers would be an asset
  • Be meticulous, rigorous, available, collaborative and commited
