Reporting to the Packaging Engineering Project Manager, the Packaging Engineering Coordinator is responsible for developing new packaging formats in line with product launches and new equipment installation projects. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop new packaging formats for all production sites.
  • Provide packaging expertise and support to engineering project manager and other stakeholders.
  • Manage SAP master data related to packaging and finished product formats.
  • Communicate proactively with different teams to maintain standards accross plants.
  • Manage schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time.
  • Manage and follow up on requests from our internal teams (production problems, tests with R&D, etc.).
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement of our processes, our database and the use of our packaging to reduce costs.
  • Support the master data management team in the SAP configuration of new products.

SKILLS AND APTITUDES REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering; Industrial Engineering Techniques, or any specialty related to this role.
  • One to three years' relevant project management experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Office suite and Autocad.
  • Good analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Be rigorous and structured in the performance of his/her work.
