Job Summary
The incumbent will support the quality assurance team by performing a variety of tasks to assist the existing team.
This role involves close collaboration with several departments, suppliers, and the quality assurance team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with packaging review
Assist with drafting ingredient lists
Assist with updating supplier, ingredient, and packaging records, etc.
Evaluating received documents and approving them in the existing systems
Assisting with IT system management by entering data
Assisting with the drafting of the department’s technical documentation
Assisting with customer requests
Assisting with data compilation for certain internal programs and updating these programs
Support with document management for Quality Assurance (translation, classification, archiving, etc.)
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) student in Food Science and Technology
Language Skills:
Proficiency in French and English (written and spoken).
Required skills and abilities:
Very good proficiency with computer tools, including the Office suite
Ability to work well in a team
Be flexible and willing to support the team in a variety of tasks
Be able to multitask while meeting deadlines
Proficiency in writing reports and procedures
Strong organizational skills
Meticulous with an eye for detail
Strong ability to learn and adapt
Ability to manage stress well and prioritize effectively
Salary starting at $25.07 per hour, depending on years of education completed
