SUMMARY This position will support the Quality Assurance team by carrying out technical tasks. He/she will be supervised by the Team Coordinator and will report to the Quality Assurance Manager. He/she will also work in collaboration with other departments such as R&D, Marketing, MDM and Quality Control.

RESPONSABILITIES :

  • Crisis management: Assists VP Quality and R&D.
  • Responsible for regular business.
  • Management of SQL program documentation system (Leclerc quality system).
  • Maintain documentation of various certificates.
  • Support the packaging approval and issuance process.
  • Approves packaging (claims, labeling, etc.).
  • Coordinates Haccp, Organic and Kosher certification programs.
  • Project manager for special quality projects (e.g. CAC, Avian Flu, KM, etc.).
  • Set-up and maintenance of nutritional database (Genesis) for R&D team.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • College Degree in Food Science, Dietetic or equivalent experience in Food industry (minimum 3 years)
  • Strong computer knowledge including Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc)
  • Experience with SAP/ PLM desirable
  • Language:  French & English (spoken/written), good command of English required spoken/written), work with documents written in French as needed
  • Excellent judgment, strong sense of ethics & integrity
  • Ability to multi-task & meet deadlines
  • Detail & results oriented
  • Recognized for autonomy and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication & teamwork skills
