The Maintenance Technician conducts, maintains, tests and repairs electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components. Applies knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation. Provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of Manufacturing.
Technical Associate Degree or accredited apprenticeship program of the equivalent in a technical field;
Three (3) year applicable experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
Equipment knowledge, Computer experience/operation and PLC programming are necessary (Allen-Bradley preferably);
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical
Knowledge of electrical/ electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes;
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and effective communication with peers, supervisors;
Excellent manual dexterity; Strong physical endurance; ability to lift up to 75lbs;
Ability to stand; walk; for long periods of time;
Able and willing to work 10-12hrs daily; Must be flexible with work hours and be able to work overtime and weekends when needed;
