Position Summary

 

The Packaging Project Specialist is responsible for coordinating and managing the artwork process for packaging projects.  This includes working closely with design teams, printers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the artwork meets all requirements and is delivered on time. 

 

Responsibilities

 

Project Coordination:

  • Coordinate the packaging process of several simultaneous projects.
  • Recognize and define potential project problems and opportunities.
  • Develop expertise in tracking and sharing information related to project developments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.

Artwork Management:

  • Manage timelines and communicate effectively with all parties involved.
  • Review & markup packaging artwork based on stakeholder feedback
  • Approve and send finalized packaging artwork to print
  • Provide real time status updates on all projects to eliminate manual follow ups and ensure visibility into the project timeline.

 

Skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Fluent in English; French is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Experience with computer graphics software and SAP is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Focused on achieving results and meeting expectations.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
