SUMMARY OF THE FONCTION
Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Sales - National Brand, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring profitable sales development by training and supporting a team of 4 Ontario merchandisers. Additionally, the incumbent will oversee a territory of stores and manage some regional accounts.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Coaching Role:
- Supervise and train merchandisers to develop a sales culture and the necessary skills for optimizing their territory.
- Lead daily team activities with effective and inclusive leadership.
- Implement tools to optimize execution and sales in each territory.
- Assist merchandisers in building and maintaining good relationships with key store personnel.
- Evaluate and supervise merchandiser performance during workwith sessions, measuring key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage and control the budget assigned for the Ontario region (e.g., salary, car allowances, expenses).
- Ensure timely follow-up on requested administrative tasks (e.g., reports, expense tracking, timesheets).
- Sales Representative and Account Management Role:
- Identify opportunities for profitable sales growth in territories and regional accounts.
- Develop and implement business plans for regional accounts, aligning with brand strategies and managing budgeted trade spend objectives.
- Cultivate strong relationships based on trust and provide excellent customer service.
- Conduct timely follow-up on administrative tasks (e.g., surveys, claims, required reports).
- Support the Senior Sales Director in specific projects.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a combination of relevant diploma and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in representation.
- At least 1 year of experience in supervision and/or account management (an asset).
- Ability to align with the culture and values of Biscuits Leclerc.
- Demonstrated emotional intelligence (EI) skills to engage team members effectively.
- Adaptability to understand emotions, anticipate reactions, changing information and deal with them to evolve one's team.
- Effective communication, persuasion, and influence skills.
- Ability to foster trust and create a positive work environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Willingness to travel for workwiths and meetings.
- Good physical condition.
- Access to a reliable internet network (WIFI).
- Valid driver's license.
