Position Summary

The Talent Attraction Specialist's main mission will be to generate recruitment strategies and implement them with local HR teams to attract and select the best talent for operational, professional and leadership positions in our Canadian plants. The incumbent will manage an efficient, timely selection process and successfully close new hires, while developing strong internal relationships with managers, executives, HR teams and candidates. The incumbent will also apply innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract candidates and ensure alignment with our values.

Responsibilities

Strategy and Visibility

  • Establish and deploy recruitment strategies with the US team
  • Promote and strengthen the employer brand to attract top talent with new initiatives
  • Manage social media and HR marketing initiatives to promote the company in collaboration with the communications consultant

 

Recruitment

  • Use network to attract and recruit high-potential candidates
  • Work closely with managers and the HR team to ensure an efficient recruitment cycle
  • Carry out the entire recruitment cycle using the Applicant Tracking Software (ATS), i.e. from approving positions to hiring candidates
  • o Coordinate all forms of pre-employment testing for candidate evaluation purposes (psychometric tests, technical tests, etc.)

 

Process Improvement

  • Keep abreast of new trends and innovative strategies in recruitment and candidate selection
  • Contribute to the improvement of talent acquisition processes
  • Participate in various projects with the Human Resources team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or relevant business experience

  • Minimum of three years of recruitment experience in the different types of positions (professional and production)

  • Know how to effectively use social media platforms relevant to recruitment

  • Experience using talent acquisition software such as SuccessFactors (SAP)

  • Good ability to manage priorities, sense of organization, autonomy
