Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the maintenance planner is responsible for planning, prioritizing, scheduling and tracking the maintenance work in close collaboration with the Maintenance leads. The maintenance planner supports, and acts in the absence of the Maintenance Manager and Team Lead, in ensuring that work is conducted in a safe, secure, efficient, and cost-effective manner. S/he also participates in the implementation of the continuous improvement program.
An associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience;
Have three (3) to five (5) years of experience in similar role, preferably in fast pace environment;
Excellent computer skills with full proficiency and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite; and ERP systems (SAP); SAP software knowledge is considered an asset
Strong oral and written communication skills, excellent judgment, strong sense of ethics & integrity, result oriented;
Strong organizational skills with exceptional time management;
Ability to stand, walk, sit frequently; Ability to work in office setting;
Ability to work with little to no supervision; self-directed
Ability to work flexible hours and weekends when needed;
Must possess a positive, can-do attitude and demonstrate the initiative to take on any challenge;
